Stanhope Weekender is a live music event in the heart of Stanhope, Weardale.

After the success of the inaugural 2021 event, we’re back bigger and better in 2022. It will be a two day event, Friday 1st July – Saturday 2nd July and will take place in Stanhope Showground, with a fantastic line up of live music, food and drink.

Situated within the stunning Stanhope Showground in an area of outstanding natural beauty, only a short walk to the town centre, The Stanhope Weekender 2022 boasts an incredible line-up with an unrivalled atmosphere.

The event features a fully licensed bar, several Street Food vendors, excellent camping facilities, generous camping plots, a free car park and is family-friendly with free entry for under 16’s when accompanied by an adult.

With more details being announced in the New Year, this up-and-coming festival is not to be missed!

Q: What are the campsite opening times

The campsite opens Friday 1st July at 11:30 AM and closes at 3 PM Sunday 3rd July 2022.

Q: Are dogs welcome?

A: Absolutely!

Q: Do I need to buy tickets for my kids?

A: Under 16’s are free when accompanied by a parent.

Q: Can I bring my camp chair into the entertainment arena?

A: We have plenty of outdoor seating but feel free to bring your own!

Q: Can I bring my food and drink into the entertainment arena?

A: Feel free to bring a picnic, but unfortunately, we cannot allow any drinks into the entertainment arena but don’t worry, we have a fully stocked bar with something for everyone!
