Tents, Motorhomes & Caravans are all welcomed at Stanhope Weekender.
For the 2025 Stanhope Weekender, we are delighted to feature two exceptional campsites.
- Castle Park: a charming, historic location nestled near the town high street, is merely a five-minute stroll to the main festival site. Here, we can provide larger camping plots set against a stunning backdrop.
- Unthank Park: If you desire to be in the midst of all the excitement, this is the ideal choice for you. Here, you can camp right next to the event arena, immersing yourself in the thrilling atmosphere of the festival.
Both campsites are equipped with abundant toilet and shower facilities for your convenience.
Hurry to secure your tickets, though, as spaces are limited and both campsites were completely sold out in 2023 and 2024!

Am I allowed to bring my Campervan, Motorhome or Trailer Tent?
Absolutely, we’d love for you to bring your home-on-wheels! Whether it’s a motorhome, caravan, trailer tent, or tent box, you’re welcome to park it with us.
Only one 'Caravan or Motorhome Pitch Pass' is needed per vehicle, however every occupant staying on the pitch must be in possession of a valid weekend camping pass for the corresponding campsite
Is there a separate area for motorhomes or caravans?
Indeed, we do have separate areas for tents and live-in vehicles like motorhomes or campervans. This arrangement is essential for ensuring safety and an optimal camping experience for everyone. Upon your arrival, our friendly stewards will direct you to your designated camping spot.
Can I camp with my friends?
Certainly, you are welcome to camp with your friends or family at Stanhope Weekender. To ensure that you can camp together, we advise that you arrive together. As spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we are unable to reserve plots. Please be mindful that different camping zones are designated for tents and live-in vehicles such as motorhomes or caravans. Therefore, if your group possesses different ticket types, you will not be able to camp in the same area.
Can I bring my BBQ/fire?
Please note that there are specific guidelines you need to be aware of regarding BBQs at Stanhope Weekender.
You are allowed to bring BBQs that are raised from the ground to the event. However, it is important to exercise caution and supervise them at all times for safety. Unfortunately, fire pits are not permitted to prioritize the safety of all attendees and prevent potential hazards.
The decision on what constitutes a safe BBQ is at the discretion of the fire marshals. They will assess the situation and make decisions in the best interest of everyone's safety. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines and working with the event staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Can I change campsite?
For ticket holders wishing to transfer tickets from Unthank Park to Castle Park, or vice versa, we do offer the option for a ticket exchange. You can request this by sending an email to our support team at info@stanhopeweekender.co.uk. However, please be aware that if the campsite you're hoping to switch to is already sold out, we won't be able to accommodate your request.
Can I camp on Thursday night too?
Sorry, but Thursday night camping isn’t available due to logistical reasons. Our campsites will open bright and early on Friday, 4th July, starting at 9 AM.
Where can I dispose of Blackwater or Greywater?
Please dispose of Blackwater and Greywater at the clearly marked and conveniently located designated disposal areas within each campsite. Please do not dispose of Blackwater or Greywater on the ground, in toilets, or anywhere other than these designated points, to protect our environment and ensure the health and safety of all attendees.
