Stanhope is a picturesque market town at the heart of the Durham Dales.
The town is the perfect location for a summer music festival and weekend break for the whole family amidst beautiful surroundings.
The event takes place in the Stanhope Showfield, which is a stone’s throw from the peaceful waters of the River Wear. The river also boasts the attraction of giant stepping-stones to enable you to cross and access the beautiful marketing town.
The town centre has a wide range of shops and the famous fossil tree, which is approximately 320 million years old.
Whilst you’re not enjoying the festival’s live music, you can enjoy the abundance of walks, which are easily accessible from the campsite.
Although the festival will have a wide range of food vendors to keep you going over the two days, there is also an abundance of places to dine out in Weardale if you’re planning on extending your stay.

However, you need to top up a prepaid card at our cash container first which can be used at all our bars like a regular debit card. Any remaining balance on the card can be refunded to the nearest £1 at the cash container.
